Finding God

I was inspired to add this page after seeing a patient who told me that her mental health got much better after she "found God". As a Christian GP, I want to share the good news about Jesus Christ here for all who are interested in discovering eternal life and an amazing relationship with God, bringing hope, victory, peace and joy. I shared more about my relationship with God in the book, Power and Praise - available here and on Amazon.

The Good News!

GOD REALLY LOVES YOU

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16 KJV)

Regardless of how you feel, or what you have been through, the power of God’s love for you will not change. He gave His only Son, Jesus Christ, to make a way for you to be reconciled to Him.

JESUS DIED FOR YOU

There is no greater love than for someone to lay down his life for another. History proves that Jesus lived and died on a cross. The Bible says that He did this for you and me. He paid for all our wrongdoing (sin) and rose again victoriously to give us new life. We celebrate this at Easter.

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23 KJV)

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8 KJV)

GOD HAS A PURPOSE FOR YOUR LIFE

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11 KJV)

Behind every masterpiece, there is a creator. Within every masterpiece lies the purpose for which it was created. You are special to God and He really does have a purpose for your life. God’s first purpose for you is to know and trust His love. Everything else will fall into place as you walk in His love and follow His will.

TODAY IS YOUR DAY

“Behold, now is the day of salvation.” (2 Corinthians 6:2 KJV)

“For whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13 KJV)

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9,10)

"And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12)

"but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name." (John 20:31)

The very breath we breathe is a gift from God.  He created us in His image and in His likeness. He loves you very much.  Remember that no one is guaranteed tomorrow, but you have the opportunity now to believe, repent and receive the gift of God's love and acceptance through Jesus Christ.  God did not send Jesus to create a religion, but to save us from the misery and death we all deserve, because no one is perfect. The power of Jesus' resurrection is the very power of God to make you new.  If you believe this, don't wait, pray now and join God's marvellous kingdom today.
